A minimum of AU$165 deposit per person is due within 48 hours of conformation of flights is required. A further deposit of AU$100 is required for each additional booking i.e. car hire, hotels, cruises, tours etc is required within 48 hours of confirmation. Any further deposits that the wholesalers or hotels require would be in addition to the above. All the above deposits are non refundable. Final PaymentsFull payment for all travel arrangements is due 8 weeks prior to your departure date from Australia, unless the airline or wholesaler withdraws the fare basis that you have reserved. On occasions the airlines will give notice that they intend to withdraw a particular fare, it is quite normal that this notice is only a matter of days and could be months prior to your departure. When this happens THE HOLIDAY STOP will inform all clients immediately. If you are not able to pay the balance of your booking within a new declared due date, the seats will remain on the flights booked. You will be re-invoiced at whatever fare the airline introduces to take place of the original fare. The price of any travel related service is never guaranteed until the final balance has been paid and the documents have been issued. THE HOLIDAY STOP cannot take responsibility for any price increase that may be notified by the travel provider. Credit Card PaymentsTHE HOLIDAY STOP reserves the right to charge a service fees for balance payments made by credit cards. As of July these charges are 2% for Visa or MasterCard and Dinners Card will attract a 4% service fee. WE DO NOT ACCEPT AMERICAN EXPRESS CARDS. Amendments And Cancellation FeesWe reserve the right to charge a minimum amendment fee of AU $55 for each change to a confirmation of booking, this is in addition to any fees charged by the travel provider. We also reserve the right to charge cancellation fees of a minimum of AU $165 per person which will be in addition to any charges made by the travel provider, which in some cases can be the loss of the full amount you have paid. Refunds of monies may take up to 8 weeks to obtain from the provider. All travel providers charge amendment and cancellation fees. THE HOLIDAY STOP will not take responsibility for clients who do not take out comprehensive TRAVEL insurance cover when booking to cover these eventualities. Please check with your Insurance company to ensure that you are aware of what type of cover you have purchased. Validity of PricesPrices on the THE HOLIDAY STOP web site are subject to availability and conditions. Although every care has been taken, the prices are not guaranteed and are subject to change without notice. Any featured prices for accommodation or any other package will normally be based on a minimum of two adults sharing unless otherwise indicated. Featured prices are subject to airport taxes and government charges unless otherwise stated. Prices Do Not Include Items of a personal nature (such as telephone calls, alcoholic beverages, gratuities, etc.), transport, home port to destination and return (unless indicated). Departure Times and Flight NumbersMost airlines state that there is no need to re-confirm your departure times and flight numbers. THE HOLIDAY STOP will not take responsibility for any flight time or flight number alteration made by airlines. THE HOLIDAY STOP strongly advise that all flights should be re-confirmed by phone with the relevant airline at least 72 hours prior to departure. Frequent FlyersIf you are a member of an airline's frequent flyer scheme, please ensure that you inform THE HOLIDAY STOP of your membership number prior to your departure. THE HOLIDAY STOP will not take responsibility if the airlines do not register your trip. You are advised to retain copies of your air ticket and boarding pass. Seating, Meals and Special Requests.Most passengers need some type of requests when flying over seas, THE HOLIDAY STOP do our best to forward the requests to the appropriate airline but are not responsible if the airline or the service provider do not adhere to the request, it is strongly recommended that the client reconfirm the request with the airline or the service provider at least 21 days prior departure. |
